Diamond - missing foot
Diamond - missing foot
Domestic Shorthair, White/Black
Female, DOB: April 25, 2024 Spayed, FIV/Feline Leukemia negative, Distemper & Rabies
SPECIAL NEEDS - But doesn't know it. Diamond is missing a foot due to mom being young and confused during labor. However, she doesn't let that stop her from having fun. She is a lovebug that likes to play with the other kittens in the cattery and even climbs on their towers and shelves. She loves attention and is considered special needs due to the missing foot and damaged tendons and muscles in that same leg. Her leg does not have much scar tissue/padding at the end of her stump leg, so will need to be monitored throughout her life. She may need an amputation if she develops any issues later. At this time she is requesting an owner that will enjoy scratching the right side of her neck since she can't. She is good with other cats and may do well with a calmer dog that will not chase her. She cannot get away as quickly as a "normal" cat. Older or no children living in the home would be best to avoid accidental stepping on her nub or toys being dropped on it. Children visiting that will respect and be gentle with her would be ok.
Siblings: Jade (but she lives in the cattery with others her age too)
ADOPTION FEE: $80
